On Julian Steward and His Cultural Ecology Theory

Julian Steward is a representative researcher of New Evolution school. His theory impacted the development of anthropology and the improvement of the whole social science. In this thesis, the author firstly introduced the origin of his cultural ecology theory, especially distinguished his theory with ecological anthropology. Then, the writer summarized three core viewpoints of Julian Steward and did some comments on the base of some research of other anthropologists.
