Clinical Analysis of Rotavirus Enteritis in Children

Objective To approach the clinical features and treatment of rotavirus enteritis in children.Methods A total of 36 children with rotavirus enteritis admitted in 2008 were analyzed retrospectively.Results 36 cases of male to female ratio was 1.2:1,Incidence of rotavirus enteritis in the peak season of October to December,Infants under 2 years were more than 95%,The main clinical manifestations were fever,vomiting,diarrhea,Using anti-virus,supportive treatment and fluid replacement therapy,children were Improved and discharged.Duration less than seven days: 77.8%,Duration greater than 7 days:22.2%.Conclusions Rotavirus enteritis has obvious seasonal and age characteristics,Rotavirus enteritis is a major cause of children's diarrhea,Treatment with anti-virus,fluid replacement and other symptomatic and supportive treatment were effect significantly.
