Initiation of Biofilm Formation by Pseudomonas aeruginosa Serotype and Pseudomonas oryzihabitans Correlates with Emergence of Hyperpiliated and Highly Adherent in Swimming ,Swarming ,and Twitching Motilities

The (44) isolates were obtained from clinical specimens in Baghdad hospital and the duration of study during the two months ( April and May) , the (14) isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa serotype and ( 3) isolates of Pseudomonas oryzihabitans were after identified biochemically test, Epi20 analysis and serotyping analysis . The clinical isolates of P.aeruginosa serotype and P. oryzihabitans are abiquitous environmental bacterium capable of forming surfaces as a survival strategy it exhibit , a large variety of competition / virulence factors , such as three types of motilities :- flagellum mediated swimming , flagellum mediated swarming , and type IV pilus mediated twitching . Resultes were showed that these two types of species produced abundant type IV fimbriae, displayed swimming , swarming ,and twitching motilities and were impaired in chemotaxis .
