This study reveals the molecular mechanism by which astrocyte-derived STC1 promotes TLE-associated neuroinflammation and neuronal injury through activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway, elucidating the crucial role of the astrocyte-STC1-NF-κB axis in epileptogenesis.
