As a result of modernization and urbanization, carbon emissions are becoming a significant issue for society. Agents for storing carbon include soils, oceans, forests, and the atmosphere. They act as sinks or sources at various periods and emit more carbon than they absorb. Carbon sinks eliminate carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) from the surroundings through a process known as carbon sequestration. On a global scale, trees are better at storing carbon than crops, but on a smaller scale, crops have a purpose. Green plants use photosynthesis’ atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) to store carbon in their tissues. Satellite data can calculate ground vegetation, seasonal production, and carbon sequestration. The carbon cycle and vegetation can both be monitored using global remote sensing technologies. This study includes open and closed shrubs, agricultural land, healthy vegetation patterns, and biomass. This study provides a quick way to access the value of biomass and carbon sequestration. Given the importance of carbon sequestration, it is essential to consider crops when modelling a region's carbon balance because they can act as small-scale carbon sinks.
