Boron and Tin Complexes Supported by the 1,2-Bis[2,6-(dimesityl)imino]acenaphthene Ligand (mes-BIAN)

The reactions of the 1,2-bis[2,6-(dimesityl)imino]acenaphthene (mes-BIAN) ligand with BCl3 and SnCl4 afford the complexes [(mes-BIAN)BCl2]Cl and [(mes-BIAN)SnCl4], respectively. Both new complexes were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction
