摘要
A novel polymer fiber was prepared via supramolecular assembly of polyethylene dioxythiophene (PEDOT) and polystyrene sulfonate (PSS), in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid. The resultant PEDOT:PSS fibers exhibit ultrahigh-conductivity of 380 S cm−1, as well as good mechanical stability and flexibility. Thereafter, a novel flexible fringing field capacitive sensor based on the PEDOT:PSS fibers was developed for sensing displacement and blood coagulation factor. The capacitive sensor has a high sensitivity of 230 aF/μm and a wide detection range up to 500 µm. It also responds sensitively to blood samples with different coagulation factors, showing potential to estimate the risk of thrombosis. These unique characters reveal the potential of flexible fringing field capacitive sensors in various applications.
