摘要
Organic alloys (OAs) represent a burgeoning class of materials wherein the molecular constituents of one crystal are partially or wholly replaced by those from another, leading to the emergence of novel crystal structures and properties that evolve continuously across a wide compositional range. This review elucidates the fundamental characteristics of OAs and traces the historical trajectory of their development. Furthermore, it highlights significant advancements in OAs, including meticulous control over organic complex architectures, precise regulation of semiconductor properties with applications in photovoltaic solar cells, and diverse methodologies for tuning emission colors over wide spectral ranges. Additionally, persistent challenges confronting researchers in this domain are discussed, alongside a forward-looking perspective on the future directions of OAs research and potential avenues for innovation in organic semiconductor materials and optoelectronic devices.
