Real-time 1.6-Tbps Transmission over 10 km for 6G Fronthaul in Co-packaged Optics Radio Access Networks using Eye-Safe Standard-Single-Mode-Fiber-Fed Remote Laser Sources

We demonstrate real-time 16x100-Gbps full-duplex 10-km transmission using a high-density, low-power, fully-packaged optical engine. Remote laser light is supplied via standard single-mode fiber without the need for active polarization management and with an eye-safety shutoff.
