Does the timing of sample collection confound the association between prenatal serum PFAS concentrations and birthweight: results from two prospective cohort studies

These findings suggest that physiological changes in pregnancy may confound associations between serum PFAS and birthweight. Studies with PFAS measures later in pregnancy may overestimate the true effect of PFAS on fetal growth.
