摘要
Bacterial-related wound infection places a significant burden on patients and healthcare systems. Herein, we report a TEMPO-oxidized bacterial cellulose (TBC)-based hydrogel with a tannic acid (TA)-modified metal-organic framework (TA@ZIF-8 [TZ]), further loaded with MXene (TBC-TA@ZIF-8-MXene [TTZM]), which exhibits great ability to kill bacteria and highly effective bacteria-infected wound healing under 808 nm near-infrared (NIR) light irradiation. In this work, the synergistic action of antibacterial components Zn2+ and MXene could well inhibit the metabolism of bacteria to realize the efficient and rapid antibacterial. More interestingly, the TTZM hydrogel can promote wound healing by increasing blood vessel regeneration and regulating inflammatory responses. Thus, a TTZM hydrogel with NIR-responsive abilities was directly performed on the bacteria-infected wound model, and we observed accelerated wound repair and regeneration with promoted wound closure and eliminated bacterial infection. This work provides an effective strategy to design a BC-based hydrogel photothermal platform for infectious wound healing.
