摘要
In article number 2201523, Ken Liu, You Sang, Jipeng Xu, and co-workers report the experimental demonstration of nonreciprocity in a macroscopic optomechanical cavity based on a 2 mm × 2 mm × 110 nm Si3N4 suspended metasurface, together with low threshold optical bistability at input intensities of about 10 W cm−2. The remarkable mechanical sensitivity endows this optomechanical cavity with great potential in precision sensing, all-optical switching, and fundamental physics in macroscopic quantum systems.
