摘要
In order to realize the surface repair and strengthening of the mold, the effect of Al content on the micromechanism and properties of Al x CrMnFeCoNi high‐entropy alloy coating is investigated. A high‐entropy alloy coating of Al x CrMnFeCoNi ( x = 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5) with a thickness of 3 mm is deposited on the surface of H13 steel by laser‐cladding technique and the effects of different Al contents on the phase compositions, microstructures, microhardness, and wear are investigated. The Al x CrMnFeCoNi coating consists of body‐centered cubic (BCC) phase and face‐centered cubic (FCC) phase. As the Al content increases, the proportion of BCC phase increases and the microstructure of the coating changes from a subgrain structure to an equiaxed grain structure. The microhardness of the coatings exhibit a notable increase compared to that of the H13 steel, the microhardness of the coating (614.5 HV 0.5 ) is highest at x = 1, which is about 2.9 times as much as H13 steel. The coefficient of friction of the coating is minimized at x = 1.5. The abrasion resistance of the coating was significantly increased at x = 1.5. The addition of the element Al leads to the formation of BCC phase in high‐entropy alloys. The BCC phase can improve the mechanical properties of high‐entropy alloy coatings.
