How to reduce the infections from turbid urine for determining protein with urinalysis instrument

Objective To discuss how to lower the influence of turbid urine on urinalysis instrument. Method Two skilled technicians centrifugated 30 turbid urine samples of varied protein levels respectively and then placed them in plane centrifugal machine to centrifugate urine with 2000r/min for 10 minutes at ordinary temperature ,taking out their supernatant by sample orders and then analysed them. Results there is a marked difference between the results of turbid urine centrifugation and after that. While former results with +++ level, the negative accounts for 73.3%.as to former results with ++ level ,the negative accounts for 70%, as to results with + level ,the negative accounts for 60% .while clear urine ,the results kept accord with the former ones. Conclusion There was a marked difference on the results of protein in turbid urine when using urinalysis instrument. It eliminated to an extent when centrifugated urine . centrifugation can lower false positive and has its feasibility .it has significance on clinical analysis.
