A Probing Study on the Measurement of the Internal Resistance and the Remaining Capacity of Aviation Battery

Battery internal resistance reflects its state and is used to assess the remaining capacity of the battery. This peper discusses the basic methods of measuring battery internal resistance. By using the 3550 battery resistance tester to measure the typical aviation battery internal resistance, we have the results which show that it is quite correct for acid batteries but not for alkaling batteries.
