Determination of Chlorogenic acid in Honeysuckle Stem by HPLC

OBJECTIVE To establish an analytical method of determinating Chlorogenic acid in Honeysuckle Stem by HPLC.METHODS Chlorogenic acid in Honeysuckle Stem was separated by HPLC on Thermo Hypersil BDS (4.6×250mm,5μm)with a acetonitrile-0.4%H_3PO_4 (10∶90)as mobile phase and detection wavelength was at 327nm.RESULTS There was a good linear relationship with a range of 0.1656～0.9936μg for chlorogenic acid,r=0.9999,the average recovery rate were 98.8%.CONCLUSION The method was accurate,rapid and simple for quantitative analysis of Honeysuckle Stem.
