Firoblast Growth Factors and their Receptors in Vertebrate

Fibroblast Growth Factors (FGFs) family includes at least 23 members (FGFs1-23), FGF receptors are divided into three kinds of tyrosine kinases receptor (FGFR1-FGFR4), cysteine-rich fibroblast growth factor receptor (CFR) and heparan sulfate proteoglycans (HSPGs). FGFs and FGFRs are composed of a large and complicated signaling system, have a variety of cellular biological function in many processes of cell proliferation, differentiation and migration, embryonic and organisms development.
