Analysis of Chemiluminescence System of Luminuo-NaIO_4-Propyl Gallate

A chemiluminescence method for detecting propyl gallate on the base of enhancement effect of the luminuo-NaIO4-propyl gallate-NaOH system was carried out.The results showed that the enhanced chemiluminescence intensity of propyl gallate was linear in the range of 8.0×10-7～1.0×10-4 g/L(R2=0.998 2).The solution of 1.0×10-5 g/L propyl gallate was analyzed for 11 times with the detection limit of 6.4×10-7 g/L(RSD=1.61%).The proposed method has been successfully applied for the rapid determination of propyl gallate in edible blended oil.
