Discussions on the Nature of the Construct Validity and its Nomological Network

Construct Validity is of the most important concepts in psychological measurement.This concept is still an unsettled problem. After 60 years, based on the previous studies, We explore the nature of the construct validity and its Nomological Network again. Our analysis showed that Cronbach and Meehl received the impact of logical positivism. They founded Nomolgical Network to prove the theory of construct validity. Nomolgical Network essentially emphasized the external objective entities of construct and laws. This research ideas are in full compliance with the research paradigm of scientific theory, Current construct validity studies should continue to follow the research direction.
