240 cases′ Clinical Observation of Diarrhea Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome Treated by Shengyang yi wei Decoction Modified

Objective:To evaluate the curative effect of diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D) treated by Sheng yang yi wei Decoction modified,make a summary of Professor Shi Dian-bang clinical experience.Methods:240 patients with IBS-D were divided into 5 groups based on syndrome differentiation;liver stagnation and spleen deficiency group,liver depression qi stagnation group,deficiency of spleen and stomach group,spleen-stomach damp heat group,spleen-kidney-yang deficiency group,were all treated with Sheng yang yi wei Decoction modified.Course of treatment was 8 weeks and the follow-up was 6 months.Results:①The effect assessment of accumulating scores of TCM pattern;the total effective rate of 5 groups was 90.41%,including liver stagnation and spleen deficiency group was 91.76%,liver depression qi stagnation group was 88.64%,deficiency of spleen and stomach group was 90.70%,spleen-stomach damp heat group was 92.11%,and spleen-kidney-yang deficiency group was 86.67%.②Effect after treatment observation:5 groups were all superior to prior treatment significantly(P0.05),but there was no significantly different between every two groups.③Each group can effectively improve main symptoms such as abdominal pain,abdominal distension and diarrhea,but there was no significantly different between every two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:IBS-D treated by Sheng yang yi wei Decoction modified has good clinical curative effect.
