Sc. in physics and his Ph.D. in mathematical psychology.He is an Honorary Research Affiliate with Massey University in New Zealand.The common theme of his research projects is the application of multivariate procedures, in particular, multidimensional scaling, to areas of psychophysics, with a special emphasis on vision, such as perception of color and facial expressions of emotion.JOHN KIRKLAND, Ph.D., is a developmental psychologist who enjoys exploring alternative forms of data collection and analysis, demonstrating that worthwhile research can be created outside the Atlantic rim.His primary general interest area is socio-emotional development with a specific interest in attachment theory/ application.
