Optical Switches and Biosensors Using Silicon Photonics

Recently the silicon photonics is attracting much attention because photonic devices can be easily fabricated by using the matured silicon technologies. In this paper we introduce our study concerning two applications of silicon photonics, optical modulators and optical biosensors.
