Electron irradiation effects on the Curie temperature of Fe-Ni Invar alloys

The Curie temperatures and lattice parameters of electron-irradiated Fe-25-50 at.% Ni Invar alloys have been investigated. The irradiation strongly increases the Curie temperature of the FCC phase and reduces the lattice parameter. These results suggest that the Fe-Ni Invar alloys have a tendency to be separated into two phases by the electron irradiation.
