Preparation and characterization of chloromethylated poly (phthalazinone ether sulfone)

Chloromethylated poly(phthalazinone ether sulfone)(CMPPES)was prepared from poly(phthalazinone ether sulfone).The title compound was characterized by IR、1H-NMR.Chlorine contents of the title polymer were determined with oxygen flask combustion technique.The effects of solvent,reaction temperature,volume of chloromethyl ether,and catalyst on the contents of chlorine investigated,the optimum conditions of specific chlorine contents for synthetic process were attained.
