Objective To evaluate the clinical effect and security of 595nm pulsed dye laser for the treatment of genital warts. Methods A total of 96 patients with genital warts were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,48 cases per group.Patients in treatment group were treated by 595 nm pulsed dye laser and patients in control group were treated by imiquimod cream.One-time cure rate and recurrence rate were compared after follow-up for three months. Results The one-time cure rate and recurrence rate of treatment group was 79.17%(38/48),20.83%(10/48),respectively and the one-time cure rate and recurrence rate of control group was 52.08%(25/48),47.92%(23/48),respectively.There were significant differences between treatment group and control group(P 0.05).There were no ADRs in treatment group, but the occurrence rate of ADRs in control group was 64.58%(31/48).Conclusion The clinical effect of 595nm pulsed dye laser in the treatment of genital warts is significant, and has low recurrence rate and high security;it is worthy to be popularized.
