After terroristic attack on 9.11, people all over world suddenly realize that terrorism has become one of most grievous obstacles for peace and developments of present world. By analysing its definition and current situation, author points out that terrorism has become the political plague in 21st century. Refering to causes and new characteristics of terrorism, author also proposes that based on cooperation of different countries, and under guidance of UN, a new way for struggle against terrorism should be found out and widely developed among countries, esp. those in same rigion. Furthermore, China, as a great nation in world, should firmly support and also actively take part in opration against terrorism.
