摘要
The traditional thermal management system mainly uses three methods for thermal dissipation, namely, forced ventilation, water cooling and natural convection, which have different degrees of defects in the practical application. The new lithium ion battery pack thermal management system uses Phase Change Material (PCMs) with many advantages such as latent heat of phase change (i.e., high heat storage capacity), long cycle life, non-poisonousness, harmlessness and low price, to reduce the volume of the entire battery pack, and to reduce the moving parts, actively takes intelligent control of heat in the battery pack, and need no extra energy of the battery. Therefore, PCMs1 INTRODUCTIONElectric bicycle enjoys great popularities by domestic and foreign customers because of its characteristics such as lightweight and environmental protection. In particular, the application of lithium ion battery with superior performance promotes its rapid development. At present, there are more than 200 million electric bicycles in China.
