摘要
• Mg-based cementitious material was used to prepare microfiltration membrane. • Treatment of industrial wastewater by microfiltration membrane. • Microfiltration membrane was used to adsorb heavy metal ions in wastewater. • The adsorption of Pb 2+ ions by microfiltration membrane is better. Magnesium silicate hydrated (M.S.H.) as the amorphous materials and a porous materials, magnesium based microfiltration membrane (Mg-MF) with heavy metal adsorption property was prepared by using magnesium oxide and silica fume at room temperature. The adsorption properties of Mg-MF were determined by static adsorption method. The results show that the porous structure of Mg-MF after 28 days of reaction is conducive to the adsorption of heavy metals, and the number of internal pores directly affects the adsorption of heavy metal ions. Compared with the calcium based microfiltration membrane (Ca-MF), after 24 hours of adsorption, The adsorption performance of Mg-MF for Pb 2+ , Fe 3+ and Cu 2+ ions is better than that of Ca-MF, especially for Pb 2+ . The adsorption rate of Mg-MF is 94.50%, which is much higher than that of Ca-MF (68.35%). This study provides a kind of low cost and high efficiency inorganic adsorption material for wastewater treatment field.
