Direct synthesis of novel layered MCM-56 zeolite using a boron-assisted cyclohexylamine system

One-pot synthesis of MCM-56 zeolite was successfully achieved using cyclohexylamine, a low-toxicity and cost-effective organic template, along with boric acid as an additive. Comprehensive NMR analyses elucidate the crucial role of boron atoms.
