The praxiological significance of this article lies within theanalysis and classification of relevant aspects of the emotionalintelligence development during preadolescence. Accordingly, thefocus has been set on determining the development process ofemotional intelligence during preadolescence, of knowledge andown skills assimilation of this psychological construct, as well asthe identification of the determining factors. Preadolescence isthe period of great changes at biological, cognitive, and socialexperiences levels, and EQ’s development has solid implicationsin human communication, inter-personal relationships and more,being a capacity with profound social implications. Emotionalintelligence is seeded and developed throughout the entire life,and it allows to show our intellectual capabilities and ourcreativity, assuring success both in personal and professionallife.
