The Recycling Technology Status of Molybdenum from Spent Catalyst

Several recycling methods for molybdenum from spent catalyst were particularly described. Advantage and disadvantage of these traditional methods of dry metallurgy and hydrometallurgy were contrasted in a list,followed with new methods such as ultrasound assisted leaching and microwave assisted leaching,while acid leaching and alkaline leaching were focused on. The next step of the research was to reduce the environmental load of recycling methods and get high economic benefit,separation of molybdenum and other metals still need further studies.
