Study on Separation of Extracellular Polysaccharide from Morchella by Ultrafiltration

Objective To study the optimum condition of concentration and purification of extracellular polysac-charide from Morchella by ultrafiltration technology.Methods With retention rate and membrane flux as parameters,the optimum ultrafiltration condition was defined by investigating the size of ultrafiltration membrane,ultrafil-tration pressure and temperature.Results The optimum ultrafiltration condition for extracellular polysaccharide from Morchella was as follows: ultrafiltration membrane with a molecular cut off of 10 ×103,ultrafiltration pressure of 0.100 MPa and temperature of 20 ℃.Conclusion Under this condition,the retention rate of extracellular polysaccharide from morchella can be up to 95.72 %.
