Objective To explore the clinical application value of MicroPureTM Imaging technology in detection of breast lesion micro-calcification.Methods Forty-eight patients with 48 breast lesions detected by breast ultrasound and microcalcification confirmed by mammography underwent both routine breast ultrasound and MicroPureTMimaging technology. Then the difference of routine breast ultrasound and MicroPureTM imaging technology in detection of micro-calcification was compared. Results Forty calcification lesions were detected by MicroPureTM imaging, while 33 calcification lesions were detected by routine ultrasound, there was significant difference(P0.05).MicroPureTM imaging was more superior in differentiating the morphology distribution of micro-calcification and excluding the suspicious calcification found by routine ultrasound. Conclusion MicroPureTM imaging technology has significant advantage in detection of micro-calcifications in breast tumor, which is a superior choice for detection of breast.
