Synthesis of 1,4-Bis(4-aminophenoxy) benzene and Polyimide Resins Therefrom

The compound of 1,4-bis(4-nitrophenoxy)benzene(144BNPB) was synthesized through condensation reaction between hydroquinone(HQ) and para-chloronitrobenzene(PCNB),then,the obtained 144BNPB was further reduced into 1,4-bis(4-aminophenoxy)benzene(144BAPB) monomer in the presence of Pd/C-hydrazine hydrate.Based on the monomer of 144BAPB,the various aromatic polyamic acid resins with different molecular structures and their corresponding polyimide resins were obtained. Their properties were also studied in this paper.
