摘要
In the current Vietnamese market, the demand for automobiles is increasing, leading to the development of the auto parts manufacturing industry. VPIC (Vietnam Precision Industry Company) is a Vietnamese auto parts factory. Surveying VPIC, the team found that waste still exists on the production floor and production efficiency is not optimal. Therefore, in this study, the team will practice the layout of production facilities for a specific product code. Applying the SLP method, the team will devise a plan to minimize transportation costs, increase the connection between areas, and minimize the distance to move materials. In addition, the implementation combined with the Lean method to build a lean production system, thereby increasing the operational efficiency of the auto parts factory. The project successfully used FlexSim software to evaluate and select an optimal layout model for the material movement, along with suggestions on applying Lean for the purpose of production moderation. However, the topic still has the problem of the number of WIPs between the CNC Turning and Welding stages because the production time is much different. To solve this problem, the team proposed implementing production scheduling and dispatching to make the material flow more fluid, which would help businesses optimize resources and increase production efficiency.
