Comparison of subcutaneous and oral methotrexate initiation in rheumatoid arthritis in current practice

• An initiation regimen with subcutaneous methotrexate is associated with a better efficacy at 3 and 6 months in rheumatoid arthritis . • The frequency of side effects at month 3 was similar between oral and subcutaneous methotrexate.
