Zhang, Q.S.; Zhou, X.D.; Guo, B.; Bao, Y., and Wang, Q., 2020. Synergetic realization path of water ecological civilization construction and human-land system optimization under the “three elements” structure. In: Guido Aldana, P.A. and Kantamaneni, K. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Coastal Management, and Marine Science Technology. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 104, pp. 854–857. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.Since the industrial revolution, global resource and environmental problems have become acute, and the concept of sustainable development has come into being. The optimization of the human-land system is the key to solve the contradiction between the economic and social development of “human” and the resources and environment of “land”, and it has a significant synergetic relationship with the ecological civilization construction through the link of “culture”. This paper focuses on the coordination between the ecological civilization construction and the optimization of the human-land system, theoretically analyzes the coordination mechanism between the ecological civilization construction and the optimization of the human-land system, and enriches the theoretical cognition and optimization path of geographical scholar and earth system. In practice, the concrete collaborative path of the two is established. From the perspective of the “three elements” structure of the human-land system, the five-industry system of ecological civilization construction is reconstructed to clarify the responsibility of “human” and the appeal of “land” in the human-land system. The results show that the human-land system is a ternary structure formed by the interaction of three subsystems. In addition, the ecological civilization construction and the optimization of the human-land system are the relationship between the superstructure and the foundation path.
