摘要
A composite aerogel adsorbent was prepared by a simple freeze-drying process using chitosan (CS) and magnesite (MS) particles as raw materials. The MS was used as acid neutralizer and filler in the CS/MS composite to improve the properties of CS-based aerogel. The microstructure and water resistance of the composite were characterized, and its removal ability of Congo red (CR) dye was studied. The results show that the CS/MS composite adsorbent with a porous network structure has excellent water stability. In addition, the CS/MS composite adsorbent has a higher CR dye adsorption capacity compared with pure CS.
