CAD Modeling of Spiral Helical Body

The key of the modeling of spiral helical body is the mathematical models of spiral helix.The conception of spiral helix and spiral helical body is presented,and the principle and the method of mathematical model about spiral helix are discussed.Using coordinate transformation method such as rotating,moving,etc,draws a base circle,and then using the command Extrude moves the circle on the spiral helix to form the spiral helical body in the AutoCAD.The spiral helical body is the combination of spiral helix,and the modeling of multi-stranded spiral spring is discussed based on multi-stranded spiral helixes.
