Perovskite-type Solid Electrolytes in SOFC

The research and development of solid electrolytes based on perovskite-type LaGaO3 and Ba (Sr)CeO3 used for solid oxide fuel cells(SOFC) were reviewed. The advantage and existing problems used as solid electrolytes for SOFC were analyzed. The development of the stable electrolytes which have higher ionic conductivity at the moderate or lower temperature and fabrication research of the solid electrolytes thin films are the main ways to lower the SOFC operation temperature.
