The bioenrichment of Fe,Zn and Ca by Chlorella in heterotrophic culture was investigated. It was found from our research results that the bioenrichment abilities of of Fe,Zn and Ca by Chlorella were different. When the concentrations of Fe,Zn and Ca in the medium were kept at 0.36 mmol/L,0.60 mmol/L and 1.500 mmol/L,respectively,the biomass of Chlorella was 2.85 g/L,3.025 g/L and 3.425 g/L,meanwhile the contents of Fe,Zn and Ca in Chlorella were 0.688 mg/g,0.131 mg/g and 0.125 mg/g,respectively.In addition, the fed-batch culture of heterotrophic Chlorella was studied in 500 L bioreactor, the cell-density of heterotrophic Chlorella was 57.000 g/L.And the contents of Fe,Zn and Ca in Chlorella were 0.128 mg/g,0.051 mg/g and 0.585 mg/g,respectively.The results were useful for developing a new kind of algal food with the value of medicine and health care and having an considerable social and economic benefit.
