Effects of arteriovenous fistula on heart function in end-stage renal disease patients

Objective To investigate the effects of arteriovenous fistula on heart function in end-stage renal disease patients in our hospital from 2007～2009.MethodsLAd、LVESd、LVEDd、RVd、SV、EF were examined and analysed before and after 6～8 weeks after AVF in 45 end-stage renal disease patients.ResultsLAd、RVd、LVESd、LVEDd after AVF increased significantly and EF reduced evidently after AVF.ConclusionAVF can cause extention of LAd、RVd、LVd and decreacs of EF.
