Immobilization glucoamylase on the Chitosan/Silica Hybrid Membrane

The chitosan/silica hybrid membrane was prepared with chitosan and TEOS by the method of sol-gel.It was used to immobilize glucoamylase.The enzymatic properties of immobilized enzyme was studied and the results showed that the highest relative enzyme activity of the hybrid membrane was 77.91%.The optimal reaction temperature of the immobilized enzyme was 50℃ and its optimal pH was 5.2.The temperature and pH stability of immobilized enzyme were higher than free enzyme.
