Research Progress on Thermochromic Vanadium Dioxide Thin Film

The VO2 thin film,which has excellent thermochromic properties,has been one of the most interes-ting functional materials.The thermochromic property is analysed combined with the crystal structure of VO2.The preparation methods of VO2 thin film,especially sputtering,chemical vapour deposition and sol-gel methods,are presented.VO2 thin film has great prospects in many fields,and the potential applications in smart window,especially in the new fields:photon crystal,camouflage and stealthy technology,are viewed.Finally,the future study and development directions are pointed out.
