Objective To investigate the curative effect of transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization combined with microwave ablation for large liver cancer. Methods 50 patients with large liver cancer were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. The observation group were treated by transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization combined with microwave ablation, and the control group were treated by transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization, the curative effects of 2 groups were compared. Results 1-,2-,3-year survival rates, effective rates and incidence of adverse reactions between the 2 groups were statistical different( all P 0. 05). Conclusion Transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization combined with microwave ablation for large liver cancer is effective,it can reduce side effects and case fatality rate of primary liver cancer, and it is worthy of clinical popularization.
