Synthesis of bis(8-hydroxyquinaldine)-acrylate-Eu(III) monomer and study of its photoluminescent properties

Eu(Ⅲ) complex monomer was synthesized with bis(8-hydroxyquinaldine) and acrylate and characterized by FT-IR,EA and (()~1HNMR).It showed strong fluorescent intensity of Eu~(3+),which indicated that bis(8-hydroxyquinaldine) and acrylate could sensitize europium ion.Bis(8-hydroxyquinaldine) would improve the carrier transporting properties of Eu complex and Eu(Ⅲ) complex monomer could be made into polymeric electroluminescent materials.
