Thue-Morse Photonic Crystals Containing Negative Index Materials

The transmission properties in Thue-Morse photonic crystals with positive and negative index materials alternately are discussed. By means of transfer matrix, we get the recursion relations of the transfer matrix elements and transmittance. Numerical calculation shows for the multilayers we discussed, the completely transparent states exhibit a self-similar pattern,similar to the common Thue-Morse photonic crystals.
