Treatment effects of Deanxit for functional gastrointestinal disorders in 109 cases

Objective To explore the treatment effects of Deanxit for functional gastrointestinal disorders(FGID).Methods Totally 186 patients with FGID were selected and divided into treatment group and control group.Each group was divided again based on whether the patient was accompanied by anxiety and depression or whether the patient suffered form functional dyspepsia(FD)and irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).For patients in treatment group,another piece of Deanxit was added.The effective rate and ineffective rate were analyzed.Results The effective rate of FD and IBS patients with anxiety and depression was obviously higher than those in control group(P0.01).The effective rate of FD and IBS patients without anxiety and depression amounted to 75% and 68.7% respectively.Conclusion Deanxit is an effective and safe psychology drug for FGID.It can be administered to FGID patients with anxiety and depression at early stage and it is also effective for patients without anxiety and depression but resistent to conventional therapy.
