摘要
Objective: Comparison of the efficacy of the micro-plasma in treating various types of scars. Methods: The micro-plasma was used to treat 52 patients with scars, including 19 cases of acne scars, 10 cases of traumatic scars, 12 cases of surgical scars, 6 cases of burn scars and 5 cases of other scars, once every 8 weeks. Therapeutic efficacies were evaluated using ECCA grading scale and the patients' self assessment before and after 3 treatments. Results: The improved, markedly improved and cured rates were 10.53%(2 cases), 31.58%(6 cases), and 57.89%(11 cases), respectively, for acne scars. For traumatic scars, the improved, markedly improved and cured rates were 20%(2 cases), 20%(2 cases), and 60%(6 cases), respectively. For surgical scars, the improved, markedly improved and cured rates were 16.67%(2 cases), 33.33%(4 cases), and 50%(6 cases),respectively. For burn scars, the markedly improved and cured rates were 33.33%(2 cases) and 66.67%(4 cases), respectively.Among 5 cases of other scars, the number of improved and markedly improved cases was one each, and the rest 3 cases were cured. The adverse reaction rate was 1.9%(pigmentation in case with surgical scar). Conclusion: The micro-plasma treatment is effective for all types of scars. It is worthwhile to try it.
