Clinical Observation of Taxotere in Combination with 5-Fluorouracil,Leucovorin and Oxaliplatin for Hepatic Metastasis of Gastric Cancer

Objective To evaluate the effects and adverse reactions of taxotere in Combination with 5-Fluorouracil、Leucovorin and Oxaliplatin regimen for patients with a hepatic metastasis of Gastric Cancer. Methods Taxotere 50 mg/ m2 iv d1, continuous, 5-FU 750 mg/(m2·d) continuous infusion 48 h d1～2, CF 200 mg iv d1～3, Oxaliplatin 100 mg/m2d1, repeated every 2 weeks. Tumor assessment was done after 3 cycles. Results Among 24 patients, 2 patients reached complete response (CR), 12 partial responses (PR). The overall response rate (CR+PR) was 58.3%. Median survival time was 11.2 months. The median time to progression of all patients was 6.6 months. The major adverse effect was myelosuppression, mild neurosensory toxicity, and membranitis. Conclusion Taxotere in Combination with 5-Fluorouracil、Leucovorin and Oxaliplatin shows good efficacy in treatment hepatic metastasis of Gastric Cancer. The quality of life can be improved and the toxicity is tolerable.
